Call to action button directing to homepage instead of set Url

9 years ago · Last reply by Alex S 9 years ago

I have multiple Call To Action buttons, on a page, linking to URLs from photo galleies. One button is directing to the correct URL. However, when the other buttons are clicked on, they are directed to the home page. Has anyone else experienced this issue and if so, do you know how to fix it. I’m currently using the Snapshot theme.

    Hi Mca

Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? Also, would it be possible for you to send me an export for this widget? To do this open up the page with the widget and click layout in the Page Builder toolbar. Then click import/export and then click download. Please upload the export to a 3rd party file hosting site such as teknik.io.

      Hi Alex S
      Url is Private Snippet
I changed the buttons to regular “siteorigin buttons” from the “call to action” buttons and I’m still experiencing the same issue with the buttons routing to the home page instead of the Envira Galleries that they are linked to.

    Hi Mca,

    Preface: I’ve hidden your URL.

I’ve taken a quick look at your website and I’m unable to replicate what you’ve described – I’m being taken to the correct pages. Are you able to replicate this issue in any other browser? If not, try clearing your browser cache to see if that helps.

      Hi Alex S
Thank you for taking the time to look at my website and the recommendation to clear my cache. However, I failed to explain that 1 button (Seth Roberts Senior Session) is working correctly by routing to the Envira Gallery, prompting the client to enter their password. The other 2 buttons (Cynthia Kohler Family Session and Sheridan Family Session) are the buttons that are routing to the Home Page of the website, instead of their Envira Galleries that should prompt them to enter their gallery passwords. If you have time, would you mind going back to my site and clicking on Cynthia’s or the Sheridan’s buttons to see if they are routing to the website Home Page?

        Hi Mca,

Sorry about that. I initially clicked those links but as I didn’t let the page itself load (ie. the images) they looked like separate pages. In hindsight, they obviously weren’t.

To clarify, is Envira Gallery handling all of the links being used? Are the linked galleries published?
