Caldera Forms conflicts with Page Builder by siteorigin

7 years ago · Last reply by Alex S 7 years ago

Caldera Forms V1.7.6 conflicts with pagebuilder 2.10.1 with WP5.0.3 PHPv7.0 No other plugins activated Theme twenty Ninteen.
All works fine until Caldera forms is activated and then pagebuilder stops working and reverts back to standard editor. Caldera have been notified by myself regarding this issue too.

Thanks

    Hi WWS,

I’ve run a few tests and I can’t seem to replicate this. Does this issue occur if all non-SiteOrigin plugins (leave Caldera Forms active) are activated? I ask as I suspect another plugin may be conflicting with Caldera Forms and that conflict is conflicting with SiteOrigin Page Builder.

    Hi Alex,

I removed the caldera plugin completely from my server and reinstalled the plugin from the WordPress repository directly and all is now working correctly.

I suspect that there was an issue with the plugin not uploading correctly via ftp, as I generally use a batch of plugins which I use as standard when designing sites and find upload via ftp quicker than selecting plugins individually, and this caused the issue. I did all necessary plugin updates after upload and although the caldera plugin seemed to work correctly and indicate the correct version there was probably a missing or corrupt file.

All is good now and I appreciate your assistance with this.

    Thank you
