Buttons disappeared and are now standard links

10 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 10 years ago

Hello,

I have been attempting to work on my Web Design services page, and have noticed that whenever I try to create a button or call-to-action now it just shows up as a standard text link rather than the usual button or call to action element. I am not sure how this has happened or how to fix it. I am using the Vantage Pro theme template. Help!

    Hi Davies Media Design

Sorry to hear about the hassle. Please can you check for a plugin conflict by temporarily de-activating all non-SiteOrigin plugins at once. If the issue resolves, re-activate your plugins one by one, after each activation, check the problem.

Let us know how that goes.

    Thanks

Thanks Andrew. The buttons are working now, although I have to go in and fix some of the craziness that has followed from disabling all of my plugins. Some of them popped right back up while others didn’t. A bit annoying but I’ll cope.

    Thanks,

    Mike.

Glad that’s fixed. Usually this process will reveal a plugin that’s clashing, in that case you’d try find an alternative option.

Sorry to hear you ran into trouble de-activating plugins, usually that doesn’t cause any problems. Hopefully you’re able to get everything back up and running.
