Bullet points or lines for categories

Is there any workaround to distinguish the different categories for the sidebar? Perhaps bullet points, arrows, or lines? Currently I see nothing and it is very confusing to look at.

    Sure, try the following under Appearance > Custom CSS to resolve:

    /* Sidebar Categories Widget */

.widget.widget_categories ul {
list-style: disc !important;
margin: 0 0 0 1.5em !important;
}
