Builder- wptexturize function override?
Hi,
I am using the SiteOrigin Builder on a couple of my WordPress sites. I like it, however, it seems to be overriding WordPress’ native wptexturize function which converts straight/dumb quotes into curly/smart quotes on the front-end. This is an awesome function for me, on one of my sites especially, because I’m displaying lots of quotes and references, and obviously also words with apostrophes.
Is there any way that the builder “honors” (so to speak) the wptexturize function so that I don’t end up with a big mix of dumb and smart quotes on my front-end?
Thanks!
Jutta

1Hi Jutta
Sorry for not publishing your thread earlier. Unfortunately, there isn’t any quick fix available for this. Page Builder widget content isn’t stored in the default content location so the plugin in question would need to introduce compatibility, it isn’t something we’re able to easily introduce from our side. Sorry, wish we had better news.
