    Hi Tethe

    Thanks for getting in touch.

If possible, please take a screenshot of the issue as it presents with all non-SiteOrigin plugins deactivated. If you’re using the Classic Editor plugin, you can leave it activated for the test. You can upload the screenshot to any online location like Imgur.com or Dropbox etc. and send the link.

    Hi Andrew,

    Here is the screenshot. https://prnt.sc/dfFHz9oYHqZx
Is basically not letting me do anything. The builder now appears greyed out at the bottom https://prnt.sc/dfFHz9oYHqZx
Nothing I try to work on the classic editor gets saved.
Your assistance will be highly appreciated

Thanks for the screenshot. There is most likely a JavaScript error on the page, breaking the functionality of other plugins using JavaScript. To confirm, the issue persists with only SiteOrigin Page Builder activated and all other plugins deactivated?

  4. Tethe Fernandez 2 years, 11 months ago

    Thank you for your reply.
It persists with all plugins deactivated and event with the builder plugin deactivated

Thanks. The tab won’t be present with Page Builder deactivated. Please, extend the test. Temporarily deactivate all plugins except for Page Builder and temporarily switch to a default theme like Twenty Nineteen. If the Classic Editor plugin is in use, it can be left activated for the test.

    Test done.
    Issue persist

You can try reinstalling Page Builder to see if that helps.

  8. Tethe Fernandez 2 years, 11 months ago

    I did.
Downloaded the updated version with the updated version of the theme and still won’t work.
I think I tried all possible troubleshooting before reaching out.

Thanks. Are you testing on the live site or locally?

    Live

Please, send a link to a Classic Editor page – let us know when all plugins except for Page Builder and the Classic Editor are deactivated and a default theme is activated. Thanks.

This is an old draft at the moment I can’t create or edit anything. since neither of the only tabs that appear work. If I want to switch from text to visual in classic editor I can’t.
Also, FYI I don't see a classic editor plugin.

All but builder plugin activated and default theme on

  13. Andrew Misplon Staff 2 years, 11 months ago

Thanks. I’m still seeing the original theme activated.

  14. Tethe Fernandez 2 years, 11 months ago

    I see it too.
I go to themes and changes but if I refresh goes back to the peak one https://prnt.sc/9FO-8KH6jkZB

    Now, I see default

It looks like there is still a caching layer present – perhaps from the hosting company. You can see the link in the top bar. If you edit the home page now, the Page Builder tab doesn’t load?

  17. Tethe Fernandez 2 years, 11 months ago

it doesnt, and won’t allow me either to change to visual tab
    Same issue.
Can I go back and activate all?

The test has failed to find a working baseline; you can reactivate your plugins and theme.

You can try checking for JS errors in the admin when the issue occurs https://wordpress.org/support/article/using-your-browser-to-diagnose-javascript-errors/#step-3-diagnosis. You can also try checking for PHP errors https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/debugging-in-wordpress/. Page Builder works; it’s unclear why the plugin fails to load in this WordPress installation. This is an edge-case scenario. Hopefully, you can find something in the JavaScrript console or PHP error logs to help diagnose the situation. If you’d like us to log in and assist directly, please consider a SiteOrigin Premium license. Alternatively, if you’re using a premium theme, this is a good time to use premium support if the theme recommends Page Builder.

The forum, unfortunately, doesn’t support media. Thanks.

Hi Tethe. If you can perhaps upload the previous screenshots to any online location and share the link, we’ll take a look. Thanks :)

    Thank you, Andrew.
The theme peeps helped out. It’s fixed.
    Appreciate your attention and time
