We found that when adding a ROW style – specifically padding – it causes the page to increase in width dramatically. This occurred regardless of whether we had the padding set to 1px or more than that.
I can’t reproduce on another site so I’m not sure what’s causing it. It’s not a high priority for us but thought I would report it in case you hear of other similar cases.
We hvae custom css on the site but I added it to the other test site as well:
.main-navigation ul li a {
padding: 10px 15px;
}
.entry-content a {
color: #dd3333;
}
a:link{
text-decoration: none;
}
ol, ul {
margin: 0 0 .5em .3em;
}
Hi Leslieg
Thanks for reporting. So to confirm you’re seeing this in Vantage? Would it be possible to setup a test page where we can see this in action?
Yes, this is in vantage.

Thanks. This is indeed a Vantage bug, a legacy issue we must fix. Thanks for raising this. If you change the Row Layout from Full Width Stretched to Standard the issue should resolve, even with padding in there.
actually, I confirmed it was set to standard already
Thanks for looking into it!
It doesn’t look that way from the source code, that’s the reason I’m asking. Could you perhaps send through a set of temp. login details so we can take a look?

Not doubting your feedback at all, just trying to figure out why we’re seeing negative margin on your first row, negative margin is the method used to set Full Width, Stretched.

No problem. You should be getting login info.

Thanks for all your efforts here. We were sure we’d fixed this :) Ahhh! Ok so for now, sorry, no row padding, just widget padding. We’ll fix this as soon as possible in an update. Thanks for hanging in there with us.
Its no big deal – someone goofed putting the padding on the row – not sure why they did it.
Thanks for your understanding :)
