Hello guys,
I’ve got the SiteOrigin Page Builder 2.5.9 and SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle 1.9.5 installed.
I have set up a row with a layout builder widget. Inside are two SiteOrigin Editor widgets. Since I have some HTML inside of one, I have left the widget open in the text mode. The editor contains a link, an image and a div with display none with a gallery shortcode iside.
If I close the editor widget and layout builder to see the full page builder and then reopen the layout builder and the editor widget these things happen:
The editor is in visual mode
The text looks fairly normal
Changing into the text mode applies this css `.js .tmce-active .wp-editor-area { color: #fff; }` from wp-admin/load-styles.php:35 so the text goes white on a white background
Also the visual/text tabs are doubled after changing to text mode: fs5.directupload.net/images/170802/g329bwaq.png
This is a single WordPress installation. I have deactivated all plugins except those two and tested this with a custom theme and with the default 2017 theme.
On a fresh multisite page with 2017 theme and only those two plugins it’s enough to add a fresh page, choose the page builder and add a row with the editor widget. Clicking on text mode then cause the bug seen on the screenshot above.
After testing older versions from the widget bundle plugin it seems that the problem of the doubled visual/text tabs was coming up with this change in 1.9.4: Using new Editor JS API for TinyMCE field.

Hi Newb1e,
Does this issue still occur for you after updating the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle (1.9.6)? If so, please try updating and if that doesn’t help, please try clearing your browser cache.
Hi Alex,
with SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle version 1.9.6 I could not replicate the issues on both the development and the live page. I guess you guys fixed it.
Thank you much. You and your team are doing a great job with the plugins.
