Broekn Theme Error but Parent Appears to be Installed

By jaybursky, 8 years ago. Last reply by Alex S, 8 years ago.

I am getting the following broken theme error.

When I go to access my Siteorigin-North-Child css at the bottom of the Appearance -> Themes page, it indicates that “the following themes are installed but incomplete”. It lists under name: siteorigin-north-child; under description: “The parent theme is missing. Please install the “siteorigin north” parent theme”; followed by the word “Delete” which is to the left of a button that indicates “Install Parent Theme.”

I installed the parent theme originally and I believe it is working since there appears to be references between the parent css and the child css, but beyond that I don’t have a clue.

Website address is:

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Jay,

Please ensure that the parent is set as siteorigin-north. If this doesn’t help, could you please send me your child theme’s stylesheet?
