Boxed layout in vantage premium doesn’t work

Hi!

I’m using the vantage premium theme and I would like to have a boxed layout, but when I set the layout bound to “boxed” nothing happens. Did some research and tried the following code in custom CSS:

/* Vantage Boxed Layout Site Width */

body.responsive #page-wrapper {
max-width: 960px;
}

This gave me a boxed layout, BUT the space around the page appeared only to the left. It resulted in a grey bar along the left side.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Isabel,

    This problem sounds like it might be a caching issue. The first thing to check is server-side caching through plugins like W3 Total Cache, WP Super Cache, etc. If you have any of these caching/performance plugins installed, try clearing their cache and see if that helps. Make sure you select boxed layout before doing this.

    It might also be browser cache. Try clearing your browser cache, and then refreshing the page to see if that helps.

    You can read more about this sort of issue on the WordPress codex – http://codex.wordpress.org/I_Make_Changes_and_Nothing_Happens

    Thanks for your reply, Greg.
    I don’t have any caching plugins and clearing my browser cache didn’t help :( I can see other changes I make to the website, but not the boxed layout. Any other solutions?
