Border in custom CSS not reaching the edge of the page

7 years ago · Last reply by Alex S 7 years ago

Hello,

For most of our pages, I will add a border to the top or bottom to break apart content. I would go into the row and under widget styles click the attributes drop down and add this, border-top: 15px solid #2a3c46; in the css style section.

It adds the border but it stops on both the left and right edges leaving white space. Any solutions or better ways to accomplish this?

– Thank you

    Hi Dodger,

By default, rows will take up the (theme) standard amount of spacing which means the backgrounds and borders won’t extend the length of the page. You can have them extend the length of the page by altering their row layout. Please open the row you’ve added a border too and head over to the row styles sidebar. Open the Layout settings group and set the Row Layout to Full Width. How does that look?
