Bold text not displaying correctly
Hi
I’ve just noticed that the bold text on my website isn’t displaying on Google Chrome browser. It works fine on Safari but no matter what I do, I can’t get it to display on Chrome.
I’m also sure that it was working before I reset the theme font colour to their default setting. Is there Custom CSS or some Stylesheet editing that can rectify this?
I’ve attached a the URL for an example page, but it is happening site wide. I’m using Mac OSX by the way.
Many thanks!

1Hi Iain
I’m not an expert in this department but my understanding of font weights is that this font can’t bold. Your CSS for bold or strong is correct and says:
b, strong { font-weight: bold; }That selector is active when you bold words like Alexander “Sandy” Turnbull.
It sounds like some browsers can estimate what bold should look like with fonts that don’t have a bold weight, and others can’t.

In OS X, Firefox and Safari can, Chrome can’t.
