Hello,
I am trying to find where to change the text color on blog posts. I would like it to be #dbdbdb. I would like this to be across all posts so if there is a universal post that would be perfect.
Hi Heather
Thanks for running Vantage.
Please try Appearance > Customize > Fonts: Content Color and let us know how you go from there.
Thanks for the quick response. I already have all text color options set to that color. I no luck. Whats next? Thanks!
The challenge here is the text is getting an inline-style of color: #000; Did you perhaps use the Visual Editor to manually assign a text color to the text on the page. Basically that’s overriding the text color you’ve set in the Customizer.
Not that I know of… anyway to check that or erase? Sorry I am a newbie at this. Thanks!
When you edit this post in the Visual tab, ensure the second line of the editor is displayed, it starts with a paragraph selector. If it’s not displaying, click the last button on the first line to toggle the toolbar. On that second line you’ll find a text color selector. Either content has been highlighted and made black using that control or perhaps content was pasted into the Visual tab without first pasting it into Notepad or similar to remove it’s formatting.
Genius! I had copy/pasted from a lorem ipsum generator. I copied into notepad and repasted and its all good! Thanks so much for all your help. Learned something new =)
Super, glad to hear you made progress there. All the best with your site.
