I am using the vantage theme:)
I have a question where I think I have researched so much I have confused myself… not very hard.

I created a “blog” page using pagebuilder and a post loop which works great.
I am using a breadcrumb plugin (only have issue with customising colors which Alex S is helping with)
first query: via the blog page I select a post and when in it the breadcrumb shows the path via news not blog?
The problem is that if I click on the “news” in the path it takes me to the archive category News page? Logical but I would prefer to have it show “blog” to take me back to that page.
second query: as I couldn’t find out how to change the above, I researched how to customise the news page as I didn’t like the tittle showing. :( sorry
I am not that confident so steered away from the child theme but found the custom css code to not show it. :( issue is that it still shows a line of text saying “All News items for home page”, can this be stopped?

Hi Simo,
1. I can’t really assist with this due to unfamiliarity with Breadcrumb NavXT but by the looks of the settings, this can be resolved by navigating to WP AdminSettingsBreadcrumb NavXT and adjusting your Blog Breadcrumb (under General) setting.
2. You shouldn’t need to use CSS to do this.
Regardless, this is the taxonomy description. You can remove it by navigating to WP Admin > Posts > Categories and find the news category. Remove the description and save the page.

1. Unfortunately that is all greyed out! I will check to see if an upgrade is required. (I want to upgrade my vantage before the plugins :) )

Sorry I should of been more clear, the screen is grey and I cannot access the “boxes” to change anything within them

Ah. Okay, those they aren’t actually grayed out. Basically when you see a form like that it means that is the default value. Please try ticking the checkbox – you shouldn’t need to adjust the other settings.
