Blog Page Displays Home Page

By Tomas C, 7 years ago. Last reply by Tomas C, 7 years ago.

When I go to edit the page I created for my blog posts, and then I click preview, it shows me my home page.

I went to customize and changed the static page to be my home page and the blog post to be on the page I created.

But when it comes time to edit the blog page, nothing changes.

The link for the posts page is: http://uscleaningservice.com/wp/blog/

The link for the home page is: http://uscleaningservice.com/wp/

It does not even show the live editor to be able to change anything about the blog page.

Please help, I’m almost done with the site and this is one of the last things to complete.

Thank you.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Tomas,

Once you’ve assigned a page as the blog page WordPress takes complete control over it. To regain control you’ll need to manually rebuild the blog page. To do this please navigate to WP AdminSettingsReading and set the Posts Page to -Select- and then save. Now please open the blog page and open SiteOrigin Page Builder. Please add a post loops widget to your page as this will allow you to output your posts. Now please structure your post around that post loops widget.
