    Hi Gordon

    Try making your Blog a page instead. Create a page called Blog, use Page Builder to insert a Post Loop widget to pull the category or categories you require. This will also allow you to add the content you want above the blog loop. Being a page you can then set the page icon from the right column drop down menu.
