    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Chris :)

    Good to hear from you.

    There is a tiny piece of raw code being inserted into the page:

    & g t ;

    above is its code form, if you’re reading the source code it looks like this:

    >

    Let’s try doing a plugin conflict test to try and figure out where this is coming from. Details below:

    //

    This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

    If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

    Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

    //

    Let me know how it goes :)

    Hi, I Work Here

    Super, glad to hear you’ve made progress :)

    For Google Analytics code I recommend using one of the following two plugins:

    Feature rich: https://wordpress.org/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/
    Super lightweight: https://wordpress.org/plugins/googleanalytics/

    For things like Google Webmaster Tools you can check out WordPress SEO plugin, it has a settings page to add your ID.

    A quick reminder that all WordPress themes overwrite their own folder during theme updates. If this change wasn’t made using a child theme then ideally you’d shift over to adding the code via a plugin solution or a child theme. Let me know if we can assist further with this :)

    It seems that metronome tag manager doesn't work with siteorigin as it loads up ok but there is no tag in google tag assistant

    Hi, I Work Here

    Is this the plugin you’re testing with?

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/metronet-tag-manager/

    Hi Andrew yes https://wordpress.org/plugins/metronet-tag-manager/was the plugin I tried every trick in the book, turn off all plugins couldn't get it to show tags in chrome tag asistant so I ended up with Duracelltomi's Tag manager
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/duracelltomi-google-tag-manager/ it work ok
    ,not as many features

    Hi, I Work Here

    Thanks for your feedback. Metronet seems to be printing tags in my local install using Vantage, Page Builder and the Widgets Bundle:

    dataLayer = [{"title":"Home Page","author":"admin","wordcount":"241","logged_in":"true","page_id":"7","post_date":"2016-01-25 11:10:36"}];

    Are you running a Vantage child theme? If so, have you tried testing with the parent theme activated?
    Have you perhaps tried testing Metronet with all plugins deactivated except for Metronet and those plugins made by SiteOrigin?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Sure. To add a script to your site’s head you can use a plugin like:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/header-and-footer-scripts/
