Hello,

I’m hoping someone can help me soon.

Since 2 weeks I’m creating www.aloenetwork.it (my FIRST wordpress homepage)

today I wanted to finish: https://www.aloenetwork.it/NetworkMarketing/network-marketing/

Just for curiosity and to learn I went inside the page – modification to “REVERT TO EDITOR”

And so NOW ARE ALL ORIGINAL WIDGETS FROM MY SYDNEY TEME disappeared!
Like: before I had a “project” widget, now al the widgets are called siteOrigin Editor:
and the collection with the projects (and 10 texts) that could be opened before are not any more their. Also some videos disappeared.

I tried to go back to a version of yesterday: that did not change the situation.

I saw that I can deactivate the SiteOrigin Plugin but I’m afraid to do this because I used some widget of SiteOrigin in other parts of the homepage.

Is there a way to turn back to the version where I see the SYDNEY THEME Widgets without starting all over again???

Thank you, Greetings, Martina

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Martina,

Never click Revert to Editor unless you intend on no longer plan on using SiteOrigin Page Builder on that page. To clarify, reverting to editor requires that we convert the data to what WordPress can understand and this conversion can result in data loss due to certain things just simply not being able to carry over.

Based on your text, I suspect either the Sydney Toolkit is disabled (which is required) or the page itself has sadly been broken by clicking Revert to Editor. If the former isn’t the case, I would recommend checking if there’s an older revision you might be able to restore. If there is, try restoring to that and if that doesn’t work, you sadly may be out of luck. :(

To clarify, are you able to add new copies of the Sydney widgets to your page using the Add Widget interface?

    Dear Alex,

    I remade it all:

Sydney toolkit was not disabled but the sydney widgets had change (only for that page) in the origin site widgets. So that make that the special Sydney teme function (like clients, testimonials ecc) were not anymore in contact with the single clients-informations.

I cancelled the Origin Site Widgets, put on the Sydney widgets and it works again like before.

This is my first WordPress site so… let’s learn.

    Thank you for your work.

    Greetings, Martina
