Beaver Builder Error with SiteOrigin Widget Preventing Page Editing

2 years ago · Last reply by Alex S 2 years ago

I’ve inherited a site that my company has been working on and I am a novice when it comes to editing within WordPress nor do I have developer-level permissions to fix bugs such as the one I am running into.

When attempting to edit the page through Beaver Builder, the editor doesn’t load the dialog box to edit a table module that is on the page. The dev console when inspecting states:

Beaver Builder caught the following JavaScript error. If Beaver Builder is not functioning as expected the cause is most likely this error. Please help us by disabling all plugins and testing Beaver Builder while reactivating each to determine if the issue is related to a third party plugin.

    Hi,

Thank you for the report. I’ve been able to replicate this issue and I’ve come up with a fix that’ll be in the next SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle update.

    Kind regards,
    Alex
