Hi I’m receiving a 500 error message because of this plugin. I contacted my host and they deactivated it, but now my page is blank. And when I reactivate it, it of course goes back to the 500 error message and I can’t access anything. I’m not sure how this happened page was working fine yesterday, and has been for years. Any idea what I should do from here?
Hi Nom
Sorry to hear about the hassle. Please, ask your host to delete the siteorigin-panels folder found at /wp-content/plugins/. Once done, login and go to Plugins > Add New and reinstall Page Builder by SiteOrigin. No data loss will occur. Please, also ask your hosts to upgrade your PHP version to 7+, this is recommended by WordPress and the reason for the error. Apologies again for the hassle, the issue has been resolved.
