Hello,
I’m using the Vantage Theme and like it very much. However, I can’t seem to resolve an issue with the banner jumping around when the page loads for a new menu item. I tried this that I found in another thread:
/* Logo – trying to stop jumping — helped some*/
#masthead.masthead-logo-in-menu .logo[style] {
margin-top: 0 !important;
}
It seemed to help some, but the problem still exists. The funny thing is that the order that I click on the menu items seems to change whether it jumps or not.

Thank you for your suggestions.
Hi Anotart,
Did you manage to resolve this issue? I ask as I can’t seem to replicate this issue. If you haven’t, can you please send me a screenshot of what you see before the logo jumps into place? Please note that we’re currently unable to process attachments so you’ll need to upload the screenshot to a third party image hosting site like Imgur or vgy.me.
Hi Alex,
No, it’s not solved. I retested in Chrome, Firefox and IE and it happened in all of them. Did not happen on my iPad. The funny thing is if I circle through the menu, it’s very random when it will jump and when it doesn’t. Sometimes I can click four in a row and the top banner stays stationery, then those same menu items will make it jump the next time through. Short on time to get the image to you, but it looks identical and placed identical before and after the jump. I added an onscreen ruler that stayed positioned as I moved through the menu items — always returns to the same place and the same size. Sometimes it looks like it shrinks and moves to the left — then back. Sometimes it looks like it grows in the same spot and then returns to the previous state. I hope this helps some.
Thank you,
Anne
Hi Anne,
To be honest, I’m having a really hard type replicating this issue. With that said, I thnk I know how to fix this (although it might not work). If you navigate to AppearanceCustom CSS, you’ll get our custom CSS editor. Just add following CSS:
How does that look?
You might also need to install the SiteOrigin CSS Editor.
Also, I see that you’ve hidden the SiteOrigin Attribution. Consider upgrading to Download: SiteOrigin Premium as it’ll remove the attribution in an SEO friendly way and you’ll be able to receive premium support (same business day reply).
