Bad mobile layout

I’m having some trouble with the mobile layout of our website. When testing the layout in page builder mobile view, it works well, but when on an actual mobile device it looks bad.
I sent a message to the developer of x-theme, which is the theme we’re using, and he responded that it was probably a problem with the pagebuilder plugin, so that is why I’m asking here.

    Hi Christian,

    Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Christian,

    Can you please temporarily change theme? I ask as I suspect SiteOrigin Page Builder is having issues with how your theme handles things and by temporarily changing the theme we’ll be able to confirm this.

      Thank you for your reply
      I changed it, and you were right, it did fix the mobile problems. What can I do to fix the theme we want to use?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Christian,

    That’s problematic. I would recommend getting in contact with the theme developer and state that changing the theme itself resolves the issue so it appears as though there’s a general incompatibility with the theme (responsive-wise) and SiteOrign Page Builder.

    Once you’ve changed the theme back, let me know and I’ll a look and see if I can spot why this is happening.

      I’ll send them a message then. I changed it back to the original theme now (which is x-theme).

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Christian,

    Hm. Try navigating to WP AdminSettingsPage Builder and open the Layout tab. Set Use Legacy Layout Engine to Always. How does that look?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Christian,

    Okay so means this isn’t as a result of a recent SiteOrigin Page Builder change. :(
    Can you please link me to a page that’s not created using SiteOrigin Page Builder?

      I don’t think we have any pages that doesn’t use pagebuilder… But this one works as expected (although I see it needs to be altered):

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Christian,

    Hm. Try adding the following CSS to WP Admin > Appearance > Custom CSS:

    @media (max-width: 780px) {
    	.panel-has-style > .panel-row-style {
    		margin: 0 !important;
    	}

    	article.status-publish .entry-wrap, .entry-wrap {
    		padding: 0 !important;
    	}
    }

    How does that look?
    You might also need to install the SiteOrigin CSS Editor.

      Hi
      We managed to kinda fix it by editing the formatting of some of the pages. Now there’s just some problem with the header and content scaling differently, but that should be fixable.

      Anyways, thank you for your help, you have been very helpful!
