Background Images in Posts? (Thema: Vantage Premium)

Hello all,

is there the chance to put a background Image to a post (different images to different posts)?
I have tried some wordpress-plugins, but no one works. Is there a “Vantage-Way” to do this?

Best regards,
Alex.

    Hi Alex

    There is unfortunately nothing built into Vantage that could handle this. I’d imagine plugins might work with Vantage for this task…if you’re using the Boxed Layout version. I can imagine them not working with the full width version of Vantage as the site body essentially covers the entire screen area, leaving no area for a traditional background to show.

    Hello Andrew,
    i have found an easy solution for my problem:

    I just wrote css-code to my post in the “text” section, e.g.:

    <div style="background-image: url('http://path-to-image/image.jpg'); background-position: 100px 10px; text-align: justify; margin-top: 0px; width: auto; height: 500px; background-repeat: no-repeat;">

    So i can set a background Image direct to the post. :)

    Best Regards from Berlin,
    Alex.
