I have added a SiteOrigin Slider, which works great on desktop/laptop. I have a background video and a background image. The problem when checking on a mobile device is that the video is not playing AND the background image is not being used. On iPhone the first frame of the video is being displayed, which is fine, but on android it is just black. I think it is because it is loading the video – but how can I make sure the background image is being used instead of the mobile trying to load the video?

Okay, so the video not playing at this time is sadly due to a legacy issue with the automatically playing videos. For a very long time, videos couldn’t autoplay on mobile devices but due to a recent change, they’re now able too with a very specific setup. We’re going to be making changes to allow for this in a future update. Sorry mate. :(
In the meantime, you’ll want to set a background image for any slider frames that have videos set. The background image will only be visible when the video is unable to play.
