8Hi David
Thanks for running Vantage.
Your icons seem to be loading correctly from my side, OS X Chrome. Font Awesome bundled CSS is loading from the same directory as the main Vantage stylesheet:
http://brooklyn.server266.com/ceaewp14/wp-content/themes/vantage/fontawesome/css/font-awesome.css?ver=3.2.1
As there been any change on your side?
Thanks, unfortunately still showing up as boxes with numbers. OS X firefox.
might it have something to do with the version of font awesome?
I think the problem is that Firefox and IE don’t load fonts via cross domain requests. Changing the url your assets are loading from http://brooklyn.server266.com to http://www.brooklynawards.com/ would, from what I’m reading, resolve.
Alternatively you could make an .htaccess addition:
http://davidwalsh.name/cdn-fonts
Aha, that helped. I had the wordpress address setup as server266. Once I changed that as recommended, all fixed. Thank you!
Awesome; glad we got that fixed.
Thanks again for the great help and support. I learned something new and very useful. The theme is terrific!
Thanks for your positive feedback David. Really glad we made quick progress here.
