Hi,
I have gone through everything and can’t seem to work out why the autoresponder isnt working…
I have selected use mail (2) … the To field is [your-email] which it is pulling from the contact form… any ideas if i am missing anything… link to the page is for the contact form is:

I have tried it with multiple providers (Gmail, Outlook, etc) and have checked spam / junk as well…
TIA
Hi Daniel
Sorry to hear about the hassle. Off hand I’m not sure what’s up, sounds like you’ve already tried the things I would have suggested. Could you perhaps email a temporary set of login details to:
[email protected]
so we can take a look.
Thanks
This is a private message.
I changed the from email address to your mail enquiries email address and all seems well now. Take a look. I’d recommend using that address anyway as it’s nice to be able to reply to the form confirmation message if you’re a client with follow-up questions etc.
Hi Andrew,
Thank you for this… however, I've just tested it and it doesn't appear to be working for me… ive tested the form and i receive the email to my inbox but the autorespond message to the client isn't coming through.
It’s working to my Gmail account:
So chances are this mail is getting filtered out by your mail client.
Try using Mandrill
https://mandrill.com/
with:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpmandrill/
We use it here at SiteOrigin. Free and really worthwhile. It uses Amazon SES (Simple Email Service).
Hi Andrew, it appears to be an outlook / hotmail issue as it works to my
Gmail as well…. i'll try mandrill as well… Thanks so much for all your help
Mandrill will ideally be the solution to all this. It’ll give you nice reports with total emails sent, bounces, reputation, the works. The plugin will setup WordPress with your Mandrill account. Let us know how you come along.
