Automaticaly start visual editor

Hello,

I’m wondering if there is a way to “automatically” load the visual editor when you enter page edit function.

What I do on the test website.

We have different pre-designed posts on the website.

A user can login as “contributor” on the website.

The pre-designed post will offer a link by using this plugin https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/duplicate-post

This creates a “clone” of the post that the user can adjust.

(here starts the “problem”) It now opens the normal edit screen for the user.
So the user should now click on the button live editor.

Now I would like to see if it is possible to have the live editor load automatically.

Is there a way to have the plugin do this?

Kind regards,
Robert

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Robert03,

Unfortunately, this isn’t possible without some custom coding. I’ve marked this thread as a feature request. We often look through these threads to get ideas for what to add in our future updates. Hopefully, we’ll be able to add this in a future update.

If you need this urgently, you could always post a job on Codeable.

    Hi Alex,

    Thank you for the response.
I’m trying to setup my own startup without access to capital at the moment.
So I’m currently not able to hire anyone to do this for me.
Perhaps I can learn more and find a way to custom code it my self.

But well for the moment, I hope it will be included in a future update then.

    Greets,
    Robert
