“Are you sure you want to do this? Please try again.”

Hi,

I tried to edit the thread I did earlier but I couldn’t…

Hi,
I get the “Are you sure you want to do this? Please try again.” error. I’ve read about deactivating plugins and stuff, but what’s actually weird is that I only get the error when using my laptop at home, not on my office computer…
Can you please help me and tell me what I can do to fix this?

So I investigated a little further and found out that the problem is related to my internet connection. When connected to the internet over my phone’s hotspot, there is no problem at all. But when I’m connected to my router, then there is a problem around 1 out of 3 times when I try to update my page with new plugins.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks a lot,

Maxime Naud

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Maxime,

This sort of issue would be related to how WordPress handles nonces (a special bit of text that is uniquely set to ensure you’re editing something intentionally and not indirectly – it’s a security thing) and unfortunately, this isn’t something we can assist you with. I would recommend posting on the WordPress.org support forums about this. Sorry mate. :()

    Hi Alex,

Thank you for the reply, I will ask on the WordPress support forum.

Just a side note, the error message only appears when I use SiteOrigin’s Pagebuilder. I tried to see if it works making changes with Beaver Builder and it is fine.

    Have a nice evening,

    Maxime Naud
