Anchor Links to a different sections does’nt work

Hi,

I have different sections in one page of my web (one row – one section).
At HOME I have a row (section) with different cells. Every cell has a Editor SiteOrigin Widget with this structure of content:
<div class=”overlayblack”>
<div class=”wrap-circle”>
<div class=”border-circle”><a class=”circle” href=”https://xxxxxxxxx.com/conferencias/#pg-7765-1″>Liderazgo, cultura e innovación</a></div>
</div>
</div>
But it does’nt work! The link goes to Conferencias not to the section.

What can I do? What can happen?

Thanks!!!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Bebadmyweb,

    We recommend setting a custom row id rather than using the Page Builder generated ids as they can change.
    For instructions on doing this, please give the following video a quick watch

    Create a One Page Website with Page Builder – SiteOrigin

    The instructions that relate to Page Settings are specific to SiteOrigin themes so you can safely ignore them if you’re not using a SiteOrigin theme.

    Hi! thanks for your answer Alex,

    I have customized the id of the rows of the Conferences page. It does not work yet. My page is not a onepage. The section in the Home should link another section (row) of the Conferences page.

    It works that the section of the Home links to the Conferences page. But not to the id of the row within the Conferences page.

    For example https://franchuan.com/conferencias/#c1

    The section of the Home goes to Conferences but not to the position #c1

    Why not?

    Thanks!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Bebadmyweb,

    I’ve clicked the provided link and it initially worked without issue for me (after the page pre-loader has finished). Upon further reloads it didn’t work. This inconsistency suggests a plugin may be overriding how page jumps are handled and having issues.

    I would recommend running a plugin conflict test to identify which plugin that is. This is not to suggest you’re experiencing a plugin conflict, only that this test is a good way of identifying what is doing what.

    For reference, here are the plugin conflict instructions we recommend following:

    You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

    If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

    Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

    If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
