I am wanting to use the Amazon Publisher studio with the Pagebuilder. There needs to be code added the the beginning of the page but I don’t know how to add it using the page builder. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks for you help.

    Hi Michelle

    Thanks for running Origami. Perhaps you can guide me to the tutorial you’re following and I’ll try help.

    Publisher Studio enables you to add links to products on Amazon directly from your website, without the need to visit Associates Central to get the link. Just install a small piece of code on your website and you’re done. With Publisher Studio installed, you can create text links to any product on Amazon in seconds, and even add a ‘Shop now’ call to action on images on your site.
    Add the JavaScript to each page on which you want to run Publisher Studio. We recommend adding the JavaScript to a common page element, like a footer, that is automatically included on all pages of your website.
    window.amznpubstudioTag = “michelleedwar-20”;

    It shows up as a toolbar and then I can highlight a picture or text and it will search for the product and then dynamically add a link when the page is loaded by a visitor.

    Hope this helps, Michelle

    Hi, I Work Here

    It sounds like it would be easier to find a WordPress plugin that already handles this for you. If you’d like to do it yourself you’d need to create an Origami child theme: https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes and perhaps introduce the script in the /parts/footer-copyright.php file.

    Here are a few plugin ideas: https://wordpress.org/plugins/search.php?q=amazon&sort=.
