Hi,
I currently have a site which uses social media icons in different places for different identities.
I have noticed that the alt tag (when you hover) for all of the social media icons is based on the website address and not the address of social media links which have been added in to the widget.
If there a way to fix this or simply suppress the alt tag in the first place using Custom CSS.
Kind Regards,
Glen
Hello, could you show me a public website link so I can investigate the problem?
If you need help, tell us!
Hi Lucas,
Thanks for your reply.
As an example.
http://creamproperty.com.au/mikehillsdon/
You will note when you hover of the social media icons they indicate cream property but the url is looking elsewhere.
It seems the social icons are preset to the website url.
Thx
Glen
Hi Glen,
This is due to what you’ve set your site name to; creamproperty.com.au, which while acceptable is rather uncommon. Typically people use the name of the company or business rather than the full domain. So as a result it would Appear like so: Cream Property Twitter which looks better.
Could you change your site name to Cream Property rather than the domain?
