Alignment of footer widgets

Hello,

I have 2 widgets in the footer and they are not aligned across the span of the page equally. From searching other forum threads it appears that it is because of the way widgets are placed into columns. Can you point me in the direction for re-aligning the widgets? I would like one to be justified left and the other justified right, essentially putting 1 widget in each corner of the footer.

My site is currently in a maintenance mode, if you would like access to the site let me know and I can send you a temp login.

Thank you

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Andy

    The footer breaks into equal width, left aligned columns as widgets are added. Please send a mail to [email protected] with your url, a temporary set of login details and a link back to this thread and we’ll take a look ASAP. It’s something we need to custom fix depending on the widgets in use.

    Thanks

    Thank you for your reply. I sent an email as requested:

    After playing around with some things last night I decided to add a 3rd widget to the footer, this made my original question somewhat unnecessary. However, on a related issue, I would like to justify the 1st widget (Vantage Social Media) to the center of the column it is hooked to.

    Secondly, can you please update my account to reflect the email address of [email protected]

    Please let me know when you are done with the account so I can disable it.

    Thank You

    Hi, I Work Here

    This is how I centered your Social Media widget in the footer. I inserted the following under Appearance > Custom CSS:

    /* Vantage Center Social Media Widget */

    .widget_vantage-social-media {
    text-align: center;
    }

    .widget_vantage-social-media .social-media-icon {
    display: inline-block;
    float: none;
    }

    See how I used a comment there /* Vantage Center Social Media Widget */ consider using other comments in your Custom CSS so you can look back at a later time with ease.

    This is perfect! Thank you. I am going to disable the user access and you can close this case.
