After WordPress update – can’t change font size/color in SiteOriginEditor

Dear Admin Team

I am facing a problem where I cannot change font size or color anymore in the SiteOrigin Editor, since I recently updated the WordPress version to the newest version. Before, this used to work perfectly.

The Advanced Editor Tools (Formerly TinyMCE) plugin is installed, and the option allowing me to change font size and color actually
shows up in the normal Editor when I click on “Add New Page”, but not when I go into the SiteOrigin Editor.

I am not sure what to do, and I would greatly appreciate if you could help me.

Best Regards

Peter

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Peter

You can check the Advanced Editor Tools settings at SettingsAdvanced Editor Tools: Classic Editor (TinyMCE). You can perhaps check that the Classic Editor (TinyMCE)Enable the editor menu option is enabled.

    Hi Andrew

    Thank you for your answer.

I just checked, and that option was already activated.

Unfortunately it did not solve the problem.

Can I kindly ask you for further assistance?

    Kind regards,
    Peter

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Peter

I’m unable to replicate the issue. You can perhaps try temporarily deactivating all plugins except for Page Builder, the Widgets Bundle and Advanced Editor Tools to see if the issue persists.

I was doubting that there may be some sort of conflict.
I will do as you suggest, and see if it changes anything,

    thank you

    Dear Andrew,

Unfortunately this didn’t lead to the solution either.
Do you think it may be advisable to uninstall the SiteOrigin Plugin itself, or would that make the site unstable?

    kind regards,

    Peter

    Hi, I Work Here

Hi Peter, you can certainly re-install Page Builder if you’d like to give that a try.
