After updating wordpress, cannot get into page builder to edit content. Get “You need to install SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle to use the widget SiteOrigin_Widget_Editor_Widget. Save and reload this page to start using the widget after you’ve installed it.” but when I try to install from link it does not install saying “Destination folder already exists. /home/www/sourcex.us/wp-content/plugins/so-widgets-bundle/” Plugin install failed.
What do I do?
Hi Antrod,
So by the looks of it, when you updated the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle plugin something went wrong. You’ll need to manually remove the plugin via FTP or ask your hosting provider for help in doing so. Once removed, you’ll be able to reinstall the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle without issue, which will resolve the issue you’re having.
Thanks Alex S, that solution worked, I am back up and running.
