Advice about second language on site?

10 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 10 years ago

Hi,
May I ask for advice about different methods to have a second language on our site?
We exporting some of our hot tubs to our neighboring country Denmark.
We like to start by making a page with a copy of our start page translated into Danish language. I guess that’s no problem for me to make a translated page but since the rest of the page will be in Swedish language I like to ad a Danish flag on our normal start page linking to this Danish page. Just so the Danish customers easy can return to that start page for general information.
Next steep will be translating the whole page as a second step.
/ Eric

    Hi Eric

Polylang would be our recommended plugin to properly handle this:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/polylang/

It works with Page Builder and is free.

Hi Andrew, I need to ask. I installed the polylang but when activating it crashes the site so i deactivated it… Do you have any idea?

Sorry to hear about the hassle. Please try running a plugin conflict. De-activate everything except for SiteOrigin plugins and then activate Polylang.
