adjusting width after removing feature image

I removed the feature image on my blog entry home page using:

.blog .entry-thumbnail { display: none; }

But I want to remove the feature image from every page cause it still shows it on categorie search pages and so on.

Any possibility to do this?

Also when removing the feature image the width of the post doesn’t change. It keeps having a white bar to the left of the post where the feature image was. Any way to change this?

    Ok I used:

    .entry-thumbnail {
     display: none;
    }

    to remove the feature image thumbnail everywhere.
    But still have the width problem.

    Anyone have an idea how to remove the feature image in the right way so I can use the full width of the column?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi N1k0_VE,

    You can accomplish this using a theme setting. In your WordPress admin, navigate to AppearanceTheme Settings. Under the Blog heading is a setting called Featured Image. Ensure this setting is unticked and it’ll remove the featured image.

    Don’t know what you mean by put the css back? cause the style.css is in the child theme. And the custom css is also present.
