Adding widgets breaks SiteOrigin

I have a 4.7.5 with SiteOrigin 2.5.2 (which has just been upgraded from 2.5.0)

When inserting some of the Widgets, the Editor Breaks.
Some widgets work ok (like the search widget)

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi,

Can you please show me a screenshot of what you see? Please note that you’ll need to upload the image to a third party image hosting site like imgur or vgy.me as we’re currently unable to process attachments.

This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

Note (last screenshot): Clicking on ‘Page builder’ will ‘ask about converting to page builder, but widgets will change (the hero widget will become a ‘TinyMCE widget’)

    Hi,

To clarify, does this issue only occur after using revert to editor?

Please do not use revert to the editor unless you plan on no longer using SiteOrigin Page Builder on that page. While there is code present to handle transitions between the two it’s ultimately not to be relied upon at this time.

Hi and thanks for the answer:

    1) I did test with another theme, and the problem is the same.
    2) I am (always) using SiteOrigin Pagebuilder
    3) The Editor breaks when inserting certain Widgets (all that shows post (blogs), also the SiteOrigin one)
    4) I did test with different computers / browsers just to test
    5) I have the following add-ons.

    – Advanced Categories Widget
    – Category Posts Widget
    – Facebook Thumb Fixer
    – Icon List
    – jQuery for WordPress
    – Page Builder by SiteOrigin 2.5.5
    – Post Expirator
    – Shareaholic
    – Social
    – TinyMCE Advanced
    – Yoast SEO

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi,

What do you mean by breaks? As in the page freezes or the page becomes like the third screenshot on save?

To confirm, did the plugin conflict test help?
