Adding links to text in page builder

Hello,

I’m trying to put links into a text section in Page Builder and widgets aren’t working. I’m in a there’s gotta be an easy way! mode too, hope this is simple…

I installed the sarraty theme and have the Visual Editor plugin. It might work in Widgets, but widgets only go to certain areas, sidebars that are only on the far right or footer. I have a plain text box in the middle of the page in Page Builder, and can’t apply the widget!

Is there any shortcode or straightforward way to insert links? I just want to do the functions as in the Page, insert hyperlink (underline or not is fine) and change color to red and green.

I also have Shortcode ultimate installed but no luck with permalink shortcode either.

    Sorry to hear about the hassle. Hopefully, you’ve made progress. If not, can you please let us know, have you tried inserting the Visual Editor widget into Page Builder? If you have, what problems arose when inserting this widget into Page Builder?

    The Visual Editor widget (Black Studio TinyMCE) or the SiteOrigin Editor widget (part of the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle) should be used to insert text and then link that text in Page Builder.

    Hi Andrew,

    Thanks very much. I did insert the widget in Page Editor but figured it out. I needed to create a new sidebar, which then could be put in other places.
