Adding hyperlinks to text on the same page

9 years ago · Last reply by Alex S 9 years ago

Hi there!

I’d like to add hyperlinks from the features on this page to the headings. http://www.plant-basedrevolution.com/business-education-books-videos-and-articles/ I tried switching off page builder, adding the code and switching back but that didn’t work. Any pointers?

    Hi Dawn,

Please don’t make changes to the page when Page Builder isn’t active. This could cause complete data loss of all Page Builder data for that page. :(

I can’t seem to see the linked website – is it currently unavailable?

Regardless, you’ll need to use a fragmented URL. To assign an ID to the headers please open up the row that contains them by clicking the wrench above them. Then head over to the row styles sidebar and open the attributes settings group. Set an ID and then link to that ID (as per this MDN page). So, for example, say you set the ID as example. Your link will look like so:

    <a href="#example">Feature Title</a>

To clarify, there’s nothing stopping you from using further HTML in a feature title.
