Adding email link to text in a paragraph

9 years ago · Last reply by Laurie Chipman 9 years ago

Hi, I’m using page builder with a SiteOrigin Editor widget. I have a couple paragraphs of text and would like to have the words LET’S TALK. be a link to a pop up email window.

“”Do you need to communicate visual information in a corporate style or humorous style? LET’S TALK. I would love to help you.””

I tried the Insert Link in the editor; for the URL I inserted:
[email protected]

This isn’t working. I’ve tried several configurations of code putting it in the paragraph itself and in the link box. Can you help? Thanks!

    Hi Laurie,

You have to create prepend mailto: to your link url. Example:

    <a href="mailto:[email protected]">LET’S TALK</a>

I would recommend giving this article a read for more information, How to Link an Email Address in WordPress.
