adding buttons to taller-than-hero images

I am trying to create a hero image, with words and clickable buttons, using a certain background image. The image is too tall for a hero, so the Hero widget is cropping it down much too far.

I don’t need a slide feature–just one image.

Do I have any options? Is there a way to put buttons and text on top of an image in a regular Image widget, or is there another way to do this? Or do I need to find another image?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Annie

    Thanks for reaching out.

You could perhaps try adding your image as a row background. When editing a row you’ll find the Background image setting in the Design section. You could then add Button widgets as required to the row. To add padding around buttons you might try clicking on the cell when editing the row, that’ll bring up the Cell Styles panel on the right, within the Layout section you can try adding padding.
