Adding a particular Jigoshop widget “featured products” on a row messes up the entire home page

Hi guys,

After adding a jigoshop “featured products” widget to a row on the home page, it shifts another row to the very top of the website before the header, outside the boxed layout.

Other widgets seem to display in their correct area ok without affecting the layout.

I have removed this widget for now but let me know if you wish me to configure back in to have a look.

    Hi, I Work Here

The only thing I can think here, is that the Jigo Shop widget is creating some unbalanced tags. I’m not entirely sure why this would be happening though. If you set up a page with the widget, I can take a quick look.

On our last testing, the same issues doesn’t come up with the WooCommerce featured products widget.

    Hey Greg,

Good timing I just sat down to do some web stuff.
I just added an extra row at the bottom and added that featured product widget.
You will notice that the result is the 2 rows above it (New Products Widget row and About US text row) is now outside the main boxed layout.

What I have noticed though, if I place this dodgy new products widget as the first of my rows and the others beneath it, it looks fine.

    cheers
    Gerald

    Hi gerry28

I’m afraid, for the moment, there isn’t a hotifix I can think of. I can see what’s happening in the source code but am unsure why this would be happening. I’ve logged a bug report. Hopefully the guys will be to able to take a look in a future bug run.

Ok no probs. Thanks for letting me know.

I have setup another site which i use to play around and test plugins. The theme is the vantage straight out of the box. It has the same issue (http://aloeearthaustralia.net). If you guys want the keys to drill in further or anything let me know.
