Add width to the mobile view ( or just add two columns)

Hello,

I am working with this nice theme and I can get it to look great on the desktop but the mobile view going to one single column does not look very nice on the mobile view. Is there a way to show two columns in reduced size in the mobile portrait view as opposed to pushing everything into a single column?

    got it!

    was in the advanced > responsive layout options when adding am image to the site!
