add content before or after module areas

hi there.

i am loving the page builder plugin.

how hard would it be to add two text field attributes to each element that would allow placing code/content before (first text field) or after (second text field) the respective block of content?

this would greatly help streamline using element specific scripts that work with 3rd party plugins such as membership plugins and video embed plugins.

alternatively, i use a membership plugin (imember360) that restricts page content based on a tag system. the way the plugin works is if the page is protected, the page content is replaced with the excerpt content. is there a way to get the page builder layout content to act as regular page content so imember360 protects it too?

    Hi Andrew

    Thanks for reaching out.

WP-Members and s2Member both work with Page Builder. This, of course, isn’t much help if you’re already heavily using iMember360. We haven’t had a chance to test with iMember yet. The issue is usually that membership plugins block content in the regular Visual/Text tab but Page Builder stores its content in another place.

Is the below request to get iMember360 to work with Page Builder?

how hard would it be to add two text field attributes to each element that would allow placing code/content before (first text field) or after (second text field) the respective block of content?

    hi andrew-

    thanks for your reply.

is there a way you could test it with imember360? there is a free license available for under 10 users.

the creator of imember360 mentioned the following to consider when integrating siteorigin page builder with it:
“setting the “suppress_filters” to “false”, thereby bypassing all active WordPress and plugin protection mechanisms”.

is that something that can be addressed?

to clarify, the request i made for adding two text field attributes would enhance the ability to use imember360 with the siteorigin page builder, however, having that ability is something i find to be a need regularly even outside use with imember360.

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks for the feedback. So on both of these, I’ve made a note on our side of the request. There is a long list of items we’re working on so, unfortunately, we aren’t likely to see work done on this very soon.

You could add content fields around Page Builder content using the following filter:

    https://github.com/siteorigin/siteorigin-panels/blob/develop/siteorigin-panels.php#L1129

I wish that was something we could dive into now, unfortunately, it’s a development task we aren’t able to assist with here on the forums.

    Hi, I Work Here

Actually, for adding content before and after, the following two filters would be the ones to use:

    Before:
    https://github.com/siteorigin/siteorigin-panels/blob/develop/siteorigin-panels.php#L1045

    After:
    https://github.com/siteorigin/siteorigin-panels/blob/develop/siteorigin-panels.php#L1118

    hi andrew-

i understand completely. i’m definitely interested in seeing the developments with imember360 compatibility in the future.

with those filters you referenced, am i understanding correctly that this would be useful in developing a plugin or a theme that would utilize those built in filters?

    Hi, I Work Here

That’s it, a plugin, theme or child theme could hook into those filters and add content.

could you point me to any resources/tutorials that instruct how to do that?
