Accordion Widget panels won’t collapse.

I’ve been using the SiteOrigin accordion widget on my site for some time now. At first the widget worked perfectly. But now the panels on the page won’t collapse. My settings for each panel’s initial state are set to be “closed”. But when I navigate to the page, all of the panels on my site begin expanded with the plus site at the upper righthand corner of the panel. Clicking on the plus sign to close has no effect. I have tried adjusting the panel’s initial state to “open” and then adjusting it back to “closed” to see if that would reset it but the only change was the plus sign switched to a dash when the initial state was set at “open” but clicking the dash did not have any effect on closing the panel. Also, deactivating and reactivating either the SiteOrigins Widget Bundle or the Accordion widget itself has no effect to fixing the issue. What do I need to do to get the accordion feature to work again? Thank you for your help :)

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi, thanks for reaching out.

A plugin named along the lines of dk news medias image rotator widget is producing a JavaScript error on the page. That error is most likely preventing other plugins from running JavaScript. Perhaps try temporarily deactivating this plugin to see if that helps.

Here is how you can view this error https://wordpress.org/support/article/using-your-browser-to-diagnose-javascript-errors/#step-3-diagnosis.

    Hi Andrew,

Thanks for your help! I did indeed have an Image Rotator Widget. When I deactivated that the accordion began working perfectly again! It also fixed a problem I was having with another plugin as well. I appreciate your help and the article. Thank you!
