accordion widget feauters in Premium

4 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 4 years ago

When using the accordion widget I’d like it to be set up so that when someone opens a new heading, the current section that is open will automatically collapse when the new heading is opened. It seems like with the free version of the accordion widget, one has to click on the minus sign to collapse the current section.

In the premium version, does the accordion have the functionality automatically collapsing the current section when a new section is expanded?

Thank you.

    Hi, thanks for reaching out.

The Accordion addon will introduce a setting labeled Maximum number of simultaneous open panels. You can use this setting to only allow a single panel to be open at a time.

    Hi,

I haven’t received a response about my post yet. Please would you let me know about the accordion features I’ve asked about? I would be willing to upgrade to Premium if I know it has the features I need. I would also recommend it to clients.

    Thank you.

To confirm, yes, if you upgrade to SiteOrigin Premium the Accordion addon will introduce a setting labeled Maximum number of simultaneous open panels. You can use this setting to only allow a single panel to be open at a time.
