If I link directly to a page anchor (like section 2) from another page the page jumps to another location.
Example:
Clicking this link,
https://www.denkulturelleskolesekken.no/dks-portalen/arsrapport/#2_Om-statistikk-begrep-og-utfordringer ,
does not take me to the right section. Once the page is loaded it works fine.
Slowing down my internet connection in the developer tools reveals that the link to the anchor stays for most stylesheet loads, only at the last second does the page jump to a different location. It seems to coincide with accordion icons loading.
Is there a way to mitigate this?
Hi J
Thanks for reaching out. I’m looking into what can be done. I’ll get back to you as soon as I know more.
Kind regards
Andrew
Hi again.
When able, please, could you try duplicating the page without the Accordion Widget for testing purposes? The steps to create a testing page might look as follows:
* In your existing page within Page Builder go to LayoutsImport/ExportDownload Layout.
* From PagesAdd New, create a test page. Duplicate the existing page from within Page Builder by going to LayoutsImport/ExportUpload Layout.
* Remove the Accordion Widget and re-test.
If your page is in the Classic Editor, you can go to LayoutsClone: Pages from within your Test page instead of the Import/Export route of duplication.
Thanks
Andrew
