Hello,
we use the Widget SiteOrigin Accordion to have different download folders on our site.
It used to work well.
But since one month ago “This block contains unexpected or invalid content.” shows when I open the site.
We use the Widget to show our Downloads. In the front end the Accordion works fine, only in the backend it does not.
I did build the whole thing completely new but the problem still occurs.
My problem:
Everytime I add a link to an document from our WordPress Media folder, and I save everything, next time I want to edit the site the error occurs. A revision does not help.
Is there any solution?
Thank you in advance!
Hi Loxxpresse
Thanks for reaching out.
When the issue occurs, does the Block Editor provide a recovery URL if you click the three vertical dots menu link within the block on the right?
Hello,
yes, it says “Attempt to restore the block” when I click on the three dots.
I have clicked this before but after I close the window and come back later the problem still occurs.

Thanks for your feedback.
Please, try creating a test page. Does the issue occur if you add a link or a link with target “blank” set? Put another way, if the link added doesn’t open in a new window, does the issue persist?
Hello,
on a test page I added a link and it worked fine. After I put the link with target “blank” the problem occured.
Do you have a solution for that?
Thank you for your help so far!
Thanks for running the test. Sorry for the hassle.
We’ve resolved the issue in the Widgets Bundle https://github.com/siteorigin/so-widgets-bundle/pull/1080. We’ll release an update for the Widgets Bundle this week.
Thank you! :)
Sure, thanks for your understanding. If questions arise in the future, please, let us know :)
