Hi Andrew,
I knew I would have to reapply menu and settings but I was not prepared to lose premium features !
To be able to reapply these settings I had to reactivate my vantage premium theme, loosing the child one while doing so.
Which brings me back where I was before activating the child theme with these messages in Google webmaster tools :
Erreur : Missing required field “updated”.
Erreur : Missing required hCard “author”.
Have you any idea about what went wrong ?
A child theme will cause all Customizer, Menu and Widget settings to reset

Hi Andrew,
I’ve just tried again, activating the child theme on a localhost test config and I’m not loosing my vantage theme premium features here !
So my previous post apply to the hosted website only.
Hi gmm128
Do you perhaps have two instances of Vantage running. The only way I could see premium features being lost is if you had Vantage Free and Vantage Premium installed together as separate themes.
Perhaps check that. If you do, delete the instance of Vantage free. Then the child theme should look to the only Vantage left, Vantage premium and therefore shouldn’t lose any functionality.
Hi Andrew,
I’ve just asked my counterpart at the hosting company to remove it and I’ll let you know
Thank-you for your help !
It’s just a guess. Hopefully that’s the cause. Let me know how it turns out.
Hi Andrew,
They did it, it’s now activated with all the premium features.
Thank-you !
Super, glad to hear you made progress here.
All the best.
