Navigation menu not displayed in home page

Hi I’m using WordPress 4.9.8 running Vantage Premium theme. The website has been working ok for 4 years but after a general edit the navigation menu is not on the Home page, just the word ‘menu’. Clicking on this goes into another unwritten page with navigation options but it is very primitive and not part…
